Community Involvement
The attorneys and staff at Pingel Family Law, LLC, have built our lives, our roots and are raising our families in the Kansas City area. It is also deeply important to us to give back to the military servicemembers and family members serving our country through becoming highly knowledgeable and in serving our military community. We care and are invested in the Kansas City community and therefore, it is our duty to be good members of the area we have the joy and privilege of living in.
At Pingel Family Law, LLC, we give back to Kansas City in a variety of ways, including:
- Charitable Donations and Contributions. We believe in supporting the causes that matter most to us. We are proud to support the American Heart Association, a number of legal-based organizations, animal shelters, local school, sports and educational programs, among many other worthy and important causes. It is our joy to be good stewards of the money and resources we have been blessed with to support numerous important and valuable organizations in our own community.
- Pro Bono Legal Services. Each of our attorneys has the opportunity to accept pro bono cases and/or provide resources or consultations when they are needed.
- Ask-A-Lawyer. Sometimes, people just need a sit-down with a lawyer to review papers and their facts. The attorneys at Pingel Family Law, LLC, have had an opportunity to assist with various legal clinics, ask a lawyer events and other similar occasions where we have the opportunity to provide some brief, but valuable, legal advice.
- We Donate Our Time for Causes We Believe In. The attorneys and staff at Pingel Family Law have been proud to donate numerous hours to legal, civic and community organizations. We enjoy volunteering at food kitchens, the Ronald McDonald house, charitable medical organizations, churches, with children’s/juvenile organizations, animal shelters, among other invaluable community organizations in the Kansas City area. We model the value of service and giving back by leading the way.
- Opportunities to Teach Others. When you are a leader in your field, it is a privilege to have the opportunity to share that information with others in the field. Knowledge is power! Our attorneys have had the opportunity to organize civic involvement events and teach continuing education classes and courses for other attorneys and legal professionals to grow their personal knowledge within the field.
- We Believe in Paying It Forward. Pingel Family Law, LLC, is a future-thinking law firm and we believe in leading by example. We pay all employees living wages, we provide and pay for health insurance benefits for our team, provide paid time off, retirement contributions, among other efforts to truly take care of and nurture our priceless team. We Do Our Part to Keep Our Community Safe and Healthy. As the Covid-19 pandemic swept through the nation, Pingel Family Law, LLC, spearheaded efforts to keep everyone as safe as possible, including allowing telecommuting, participating in legal proceedings by video conferencing when permitted by the Court, and through telephonic and video conferencing consultations.
